trap today--sneaked down for an hour between hops. Thought I had begun to get the word the other day, but this afternoon couldn't hit my hat--very exasperating. Saturday last was really a "wrong" day for me. I tell you about it not because I want sympathy, but because everything was so bad it was funny. On the first hop in the morning the section leader took us up above the clouds, twisted around awhile, then turned the lead over to me. Not being able to see the ground, etc I didn't know where the hell we were & neither did the other two boys in the formation. But I, being the leader at that time caught all the criticism. The chase pilot had a fit because of the uncertain way in which I was wandering around the area, and when I did get straightened
