was something of a puzzle to you. Without going into detail I can tell you that we do two types of firing - strafing and shooting at a sleeve towed by another plane. There is a great deal of swamp land around here to there is no danger to civilians in diving low over targets on the ground and emptying our guns. The sleeve, or large circular, tunnel-like piece of canvas is pulled by the tow plane and speeds along about 300' behind. We make "runs" on this target from different angles & varying altitudes. We all use diff. colored ammunition so that our record can be tabulated afterward. This should give you a rough idea of how we go about it. We have had a couple of
