4 U.S. NAVAL AIR STATION MIAMI, FLORIDA hours of night flying in addition to the day schedule all this week. I wish I had the ability to describe to you what I see & feel up there after dark. It is a marvelous sight - the moon shining brightly, a sea of milky gray clouds below, the subdued lights of dimmed - out Miami not far away, the stars above, the blue flame from the exhaust pipe of the plane ahead, it is really grand. Must run now, get a bite to eat and head for squadron & my last night of night flying. Feel awfully guilty that I have been so long in writing. Will do better next time. All goes well - love to all.
