all probability would have done nothing if your little windfall hadn't come along. If everything goes well I will have soloed by the time you receive this letter. I imaging that you folks think that my training is proceeding pretty slowly since it is now five weeks, and I have not yet had ten hours of dual instruction. Well, as a matter of fact, I, too, have become rather impatient. However, there has been plenty of ground-school to keep me busy. Radio code and trigonometry present something more than an elementary problem for most of us. Nonetheless, I have no complaint with the progress that I have thus far made. It is a grand and adventurous experience, grandma, I love it. In three weeks my section is scheduled to go south for advanced training. It
