"Parsonne, garcon, but does this little beastie go with the salad? Is this salad ala Antoine?" Man, did he become apologetic--"so sorry, messieur (sp), etc, etc"--than he scurried away to get me another. After dinner, with no dessert for obvious reasons, we walked back to have a look at the Mystery Room. It was a very ordinary looking private dining room with cedar shavings on the floor and autographed pictures of famous people on the wall--no more, no less. At 8:45 we got started for Pensacola, planning to drive as far as Mobile, Ala & spend the night, finishing the trip the next morning. It rained hard most of the way over, but it was a very pleasant drive, nonetheless. Inside the car we enjoyed fine music from the radio and remained dry and comfortable. Intermittent flashes of lightning showed a countryside that I am sure must be very pretty by daylight--especially around Biloxi and Gulfport. We were unable to get a hotel
