Saving...
opens, and I don't hesitate. The chow is excellent with plenty of butter available. Colored waiters bring on the food and replenish the supply the moment a dish is emptied. There is no doubt about the ancestry of these boys. They are pure stock and black as the ace of spades. After supper I can do what I want which is apt to include anything from letter writing, bridge, movie, or study. Usually the latter commands at least some attention. At 10 oclock lights must go out and a bunk check is made - and so ends another day to be followed by its twin brother a brief few hours later. Those who aren't flying can go ashore on Sat. night and don't have to be back until 9:30 Sun. night, that is, those who have their blue cadet uniforms can. I don't have mine yet, but it should arrive in a few days.
