Saving...
modern aviation engine. Particular points of practical use are brought out in each different bay. For example, in bay three we studied the effect a controllable pitch prop could have on manifold pressure & rpms with a constant throttle setting; in another bay we took up the effect of different fuel - air mixtures on cylinder head temperatures, etc and how to determine the best power setting & the best economy setting; at still another bay we took up trouble shooting, ie, how to determine what is wrong with an engine by the way it sounds & instrument readings. Ben & father would eat this up. Even I find it quite interesting but don't bother to analyze it out to the last detail. I catch on about as well as the average, perhaps, a little better. I have checked out of radio, which came about sooner than I would have expected, based on past performance. I next will start on semaphore and blinker.
