taxiing is something any one can do well if he has patience. The first day we shot some landings on one of the practice fields, and did a little routine airwork. The second day we did the same thing, plus a few spins & flipper turns. On both days I did a pretty fair job, and he was free with his commendation. On Thurs. after I came down, I went back up for a solo check which consisted of nothing but one cut gun & a few landings - it was not hard to get an "up." Today I flew three hours of solo and find that it is rather tiring, especially when you have to be so much on the alert all the time. On Monday I shall probably get instruction again - on slips, small field procedure, and inverted spins, the latter being an experience worth double the admission price, so I hear.
