Saving...
noticed my watch said three oclock. Thinking that it had stopped I wound it, and set it forward to five oclock. After I had half dressed myself and was washing my face, my roommate casually commented that his watch had stopped at 3 oclock. In a twinkling, it dawned on me that it actually was three in the morning, and that the reveille bell was two hours early. I piled back in bed hardly bothering to dry my face. Such goings on reminded me of fraternity hell week at the U. Your letters of family dinners, and of the doings of all the Adel folks, paint a happy picture and bring back pleasant memories. One day I shall enjoy them all again - perhaps, when I get my commission I shall get a short leave. Your cookies have arrived both times undamaged - always good, too. My best to all - much love, Nile
