Thursday May 7, 1942 U.S. Naval Air Station PENSACOLA, FLORIDA Dear People, Just a note to say that the golf clubs - and the cookies - arrived today none the worse for the shipping. Thank you so much for both. Am now flying formation and liking it a lot. My enthusiasm for the flying game grows apace. I must have a plane of my own when this is all over. Only wish I had an opportunity for extra practice and experiment the way I use to with a football. Things are coming along well, however, and I have no complaint. Enjoy your letters so - much - hope you'll write again, George. Much love, Nile
