did. The feeling that politics and government is not the place for gentlemen has too long been accepted. Anything I might enter at present - business, coaching, politics, selling, etc - would expose me to criticism because of the publicity I have received. That is unfortunate - but if I have any ability apart from the field of athletics I should be able to overcome this handicap. Perhaps I have made a mistake. If so it will not be the first and I shall recoup. However, I am doing what I think is the thing to do. Yours, Nile Kinnick
