Nile C. Kinnick Oct. 9, 1940 Dear Ben: Agreeable with our conversation a few minutes ago, Mrs. Morris' car is at Mrs. Sullivans at 2801 Grand Ave., Des Moines, Apartment #6. Be sure to have the battery checked for water when you stop for gas. The keys are in this letter. Pleased to hear of the new honor as vice president of the Student Union Board. As a student you will have to hussle to keep out of the way of your younger brother. It is amazing how he hits the books every night and with no urging. To-night he mentioned perfect grades in tests over three subjects, "but not so good in French. Too many little mistakes." His evidently sincere interest in scholastics is really refreshing. Will be very glad to see you Friday night. Love Pop
