BEN G. KINNICK Beta House Ames, Iowa Nov. 9, 1940 Dear Bob, You were too close in your predictions, I am so busy in activities my grades are suffering. Also yesterday we won the fraternity championship in a hell of a tough battle. We had to play an overtime to win it. Your letter was most interesting and I am so glad you have a good job with what seems to be a very fine company. I think Seattle is a great place and wouldn't mind at all being there. However, for a middle western engineer to settle in the west is a problem, unless transferred there by an eastern company. I interviewed Eastman Kodak for a summer job last week. It was fine experience. Also last week took a trip into Arkansas to a
