2 She proved to be an excellent girl - enthusiastic, pretty, charming and simple in her tastes and desires. We both had a fine time and have a date for for this Saturday again. She mentioned knowing Mrs. Runyan of Omaha through vacationing in the same place. Mrs. R.- evidently spoke highly of you, mother, - which we can all understand. The two-a-day practices were over yesterday for which even the coaches are glad. From now on I shall have my mornings free to study & read at leisure - or whatever I wish to do. Very pleasant situation don't you think. Anderson evidently plans to send me out scouting some this year but he never lets any of us know
