Saving...
till the middle of the week, hence, I don't know what to do about asking any of you down for a game. We'll just have to let it ride for awhile, I guess. I had lunch at the Jefferson Hotel Coffee Shop today and ran into Morton Straight. [Adel. In.] Fortunately, I recognized him & recalled his name immediately. He wanted to be remembered to all of you. He has something to do with the housing project down at Burlington & was on his way down there. Since I am going to have to scout some this year & because Anderson wants me on the bench with him when I am at home I won't be able to broadcast any. I regret missing the experience as much as the money. On next Thursday I am going down to Columbus Junction
