Saving...
slow going. The highway was covered with five or six inches of wet, slushy snow making it quite slippery going. Fortunately, just as it was getting dark we ran out of the storm and hit clear pavement. We arrived about 9:30 without mishap except that something has happened to my muffler. My engine sounds like it has a cut-out on it. Couldn't help realizing what a luxury a fine car is. The weather was most inclement and yet we sailed along in perfect comfort, dry & warm, listening to fine music over the radio. A low ceiling kept the right wing from flying this morning, but will probably get to go up tomorrow A.M. Changed my bed linen today. Can hardly believe it myself. All goes well here. Keep me posted on what Ben does & how George is getting along. I'm betting George gets his competitive wage aroused one of these days and shows all of you some real basketball & some real grades. Only quitters are satisfied with 'floating" Love - Nile
