Saving...
before the Canadian parliament - I would appreciate getting it. My edition of the Register didn't carry either of them. From the excerpts I saw he did his usual masterful job. Nothing gives me more pleasure of inspiration than reading speeches delivered by Churchill - and Lincoln. Father, I would like to have you send me one of those file boxes that is in good repair. You may remove the manila folders inside and, if it isn't too much trouble include quite a bit of stationery - both envelopes & paper. How about some stamps too? I hope you'll know what I mean by file box. They are about 12 x 14 x 3 if that will help any. I plan to use it for a stationery & miscellaneous container. My car has a dead battery for some unknown reason. I hope I can find a garage that won't skin me too deeply. Apart from this all goes well. I trust your parental affection will overlook the frequent appearance of that obnoxious pronoun I in this letter. Nile
