2 He said, "I'll wear 'em hard for every day I'll use 'em if the programs work or play, I'll wear 'em to the parties And I'll out smart there all smarties, Cause green slacks aren't in fashion every day." He wore 'em to the golf course near at hand, He modeled on the greens and in the sand, He hit 'em far and wide, But no one has denied, That the slack suit was the best of all his brand. His reputation soared wher'ere he went, He was of all the college boys a great and famous gent, He played football with great glee, And his drop kicks you should see, He was the greatest that fair Iowa ever sent.
