Friday 4 - 26 [1940] Dear Family: I am writing from Grandmas. At the last minute I decided to run up here for the weekend and possibly see some of the relays inasmuch as I should drop up this way and see a couple of fellows in Des Moines anyhow. As I mentioned before I shall be in Soo City on the 10th of May & drop down to Omaha the same nite if at all possible. Am enclosing another letter from Baum which I received today & which I hope you will return as soon as you have finished with it. He certainly is a wonderful salesman by letter - must be terrific
