5/21[1940] Dear Mother: I have written R.B. in the manner you & father mentioned. In my mind it is time we come to a showdown one way or the other. I should receive & answer by Thurs. or Friday. I disct the possibility you mentioned in the last letter. I have done as I see best & would have been better if I had done so a couple of weeks ago. Don't finish finals until Sat. - Return RB's last letter please
