[May 26, 1940] Nile C. Kinnick Iowa City, Iowa Sunday Dear Mother: I am an awful trial to you I'm afraid - I almost hesitate to write. But here is another enclosure from Baum. I could still make a deal probably but I wonder if it hasn't been proven not the place - I kind of feel that way. I don't know what is left - if it weren't for the All-Star & pro foot ball - which I don't want to play in - I suppose I would go in to law. I'll be daggoned if I can figure out what to do.
