Memphis, Apral the, 6. 1863 My dear father and mother and sister i take my pen in to lat you now that i am well and i hope these fue lins will find you the same i reseaved ure latter to day that give me satasfaction that you are all well and are duing well i am duing well now i will sun go to my regement unless i git sick a gan but i hope not you rite that tha say that bige white is dade but it ant so he is gitting a long bout as well as ane of us i dont now anething a bout dave miler he dident com up on the same
