The June the 13, 1863 My dear father and mother and sister i sat don to lat you now that i am well and i hope these fue lins will find you the same i hant had a latter from you for som time i wod like to here from you how you are giting a long we are giting a long well so far we are campt close to the rabels camp a bout 80 rods from them so that close a nof we are campt in a holer rite close to our rifle pits so the rabels cant hurt us much but we cant give it to them tha cant stick their hads out of thar rifle pits we cape them
