JulyThe 6st 1864 Dear Sister it is with the gratest of plesure that I sat don to lat you know that I am well and I hope those fue lins may find you the Same when I rote first part of this latter i was in a hurre and I had to Close It and I had ent time to male it so I thot that I rite fue lins to day we hadent ware goud tims we had to march oll day and it was warre warm i gess that you had batter tims Anne I wat you to Sand me 2 ore 3 hanchiefs tha are hard to git here and it is so warm that I nade them you Can sand them by male Sand them as sun (Vertically down, at left:-) as you Can wright sun J K
