SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, 1864. Up early, spent the morning reading my Bible. Enjoyed the church service more than words can express. Benton Barracks in the afternoon. MONDAY 11 One of those strange dreamy days I sometimes have. Had a good talk with Maj. Stanton at the Library. Have been misjudged by the one of all others, that I most trusted. TUESDAY 12 Went to hear Richard III and was more than repaid. I had misjudged as much as I had been misjudged. All right now! Better friends than ever.
