MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 1864. Spent the day writing to Agents. Committee on Orphan Asylum spent the evening in consultation. Arrangements completed. Note extraordinary from R.A.D. TUESDAY 16 Long talk with __ sad but pleasant. My work becomes more and more heavy. Mrs W-s' affairs getting [mixed?] WEDNESDAY 17 Mr. Clarke and Pres' Spencer called. Spent the evening at Gov' Stones. An interesting company there. Too cold to start home.
