MONDAY, JUNE 20, 1864. Went to Commencement But, "felt like one who trod alone. Some banquet hall deserted. Whose lights were fled TUESDAY 21 Whose garlands dead And all but he departed." Mr. Vincent for companion on the way home today. Mr W- far more pleasant. Took the Packet for the Home. WEDNESDAY 22 Exec' Com' met at the Home today. Enjoyed a few moments rich conversation with Mr S-. Nearer "my style" than any one I have seen lately.
