SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9, 1864. Such a sad, sad day. O! to think our Brother will never walk with us to the house of God again. My heart is sore with grief. MONDAY 10 Still busy all day with our desolate work. At eve at Mr Pitmans, more kind than some relatives would be. TUESDAY 11 ..... Still at it. No time to read or think, but can pray all the time. It brings consolation that I find no where else.
