TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1864. Left B - at sunrise, Traveled all day. Pleasant time at the Peoria House with Mollie - Read Enoch Arden. WEDNESDAY 19 Traveled all day and night. Spent this time on the cars reading from the poets. Manda a charming traveling companion. THURSDAY 20 Reached Louisville this afternoon. Met Mrs Cole & became much attached to her. Manda sick. Glad to be near No. 14
