SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 1864. Letters today from my best earthly friends. Much to regret & also to be thankful for. Dark days outwardly. MONDAY 21 A day of trial most emphatically. But I have less than my share of trials any how, and will not complain. TUESDAY 22 Have everything to be thankful for. Father will surely come & then, and then much more good can be accomplished.
