TUESDAY, DECEMBER 20, 1864. Went to the Com' prayer meeting. Thence to the [Gayors?] Hospital & saw Mrs B~ Felt stronger after the many prayers offered for me. WEDNESDAY 21 A letter from Mrs Cole saddened and cheered me. Cannot drive away lonely feelings THURSDAY 22 Visited the Washington Hospital & arranged for a kitchen. Unutterably thankful for these openings.
