We had a verry interresting meting this Winter that Lasted four Weaks but unfortuneate for me the Weather Was verry bad at the Commencement & I exposed myself to mutch took A heavy Cold and was oblidged to stay at home during the remainder of the meting & I regretted it verry mutch there were A number of Conversions & accessions & the membership greatley revived but for the Last few days there has been quite an excitement about the war they have been trying to make up Mony to hire men & keep off the draft but the Call has been so often that it takes quite an effort this time & they Want near five hundred from this township you said you had not heard from Pa for some time I heard from there not Long since they were all Well
