Mother & Mary have been there nearly all of the time since Sunday morning, & I have all of the work to do so that I hardly have time to write but I have delayed writing for so long, I was afraid of a scolding. Matt has been down here since last Saturday Pa & him are cutting logs & hauling to the Dutch Mill to make plank to plank up a cellar. Pa & Matt to-gather have bought the John Reed place & 18 acres between that & the rail road & there is a splendid building spot on that 18 acres & they are going to dig a cellar & plank it & move the house that is
