I have had a splendid visit and have enjoyed it hugely. But we have been hering such sad news that I can not feel like writing. (the death of our President). it seems like it is almost to hard a stroke to bear. but we will have to submit. I was in hopes last week when we were hearing so much good news that the war was almost over but now things look rather dark again but I hope that all things will come out right yet. Thursday I could not finish my letter yesterday so will try to find some thing to fill it up now Addie is still improving slowly she thinks she will soon be able to be around again.
